Year unfolded: Easybrain’s journey through 2024
As we stepped into 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey we had in 2024. Easybrain’s year was marked by significant progress: while the turbulence in the gaming market persisted, we forged new partnerships, reached remarkable milestones, launched exciting new titles, and continued to grow.
- One of the year’s most transformative moments was the announcement of joining Miniclip through a divestment deal with Embracer Group. This strategic move opens an exciting new chapter for Easybrain, filled with possibilities for growth and innovation while ensuring both companies remain at the forefront of mobile gaming. Joining Miniclip will also enhance Easybrain’s ability to adapt to industry dynamics, benefiting from shared expertise and expanded resources. At the same time, we retain our own workflow, core principles, and autonomy.
- Another defining achievement in 2024 was reaching two billion downloads across our portfolio! This impressive threshold highlighted the widespread appeal of our games that bring moments of joy to millions of people every day. Celebrating this result filled our team with immense pride and served as a powerful source of inspiration!
- 2024 was particularly fruitful in terms of new releases. We expanded our portfolio with three new titles, launching them on both the App Store and Google Play:
Crossword Master, a word puzzle that elevates classic crosswords with turn-based mechanics and an intricately designed interface. Within months of its release, Crossword Master secured its place among our top-performing games!
Easy Words, a highly addictive word puzzle game where players take turns creating words from the letters in their deck to outscore their opponents.
Hidden Spots, a fresh take on the hidden object genre, where instead of finding objects, players are challenged to identify the correct, often tricky, hidden spots for them and bring scenes to life.
- While introducing new launches, we also focused on delivering exciting new features to our existing titles, making them even more captivating for our audience. This approach contributed to the strong performance of our entire game collection.
- According to Sensor Tower, two of our hits, Art Puzzle and Pixel Art, were ranked among the top 20 most downloaded games worldwide in the Board category cumulatively on the App Store and Google Play. In the same category on the App Store, our timeless classic Sudoku.com is among the top 10 most downloaded games worldwide. Additionally, Art Puzzle, Pixel Art, and Differences received recognition from Google Play and were featured in the "Editors' Choice" category.
- Our team has always been the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re endlessly happy that, for many years now, the size of our team has consistently shown positive dynamics. By year-end, we proudly surpassed the number of 350 teammates on board. With our new hybrid work model, we established brand-new office spaces for the teams in Cyprus and Poland.
- Easybrain continued to support educational initiatives that matter to us and the communities where we operate. The company contributed to the development of educational projects, the creation of resources and tools for learning, and sponsored essential technical equipment. Additionally, we supported the DevGAMM conferences — events for connecting game developers and encouraging collaboration within the industry.
“2024 has been a year of meaningful news and milestones for Easybrain. None of this would have been possible without the hard work of our team and the trust of our players worldwide. As we moved into 2025, we can’t wait to unlock new achievements while staying focused on the core values that have guided us from the start,” said Matvey Timoshenko, co-founder and COO of Easybrain.
